  Specifications for  
  1293cc/1340cc and 1380cc  
 
 
 
  We can supply and fit the following uprated short engine kits:  
 
 
  1. Chemically cleaned block, bored and honed to: +0.020" (1293cc)/+0.060" (1340cc)/73.5mm (1380cc).

  2. Supplied with new core plugs & centre main bearing strap, refaced block deck and repainted.

  3. Dished Powermax or Omega pistons with Vandervell uprated lead/copped big end & main bearings.

  4. Choice of Kent or Piper camshaft, supplied with new chilled iron cam followers, vernier duplex timing gear & new H/C oil pump.

  5. (1293/1340/1380) Lightened flywheel & backplate, supplied with new clutch plate.

  6. (1380 only) Steel U/L flywheel & backplate, orange/grey diaphragm & new bonded AP clutch plate.

  7. Full conversion gasket set supplied along with uprated copper head gasket.
